A resolution to amend Ordinance No. BL2023-1700, as amended, to authorize The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon additional linear feet of public sanitary sewer main, public sanitary sewer manholes, and public fire hydrant assembly, and to accept additional public sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manhole and fire hydrant assembly, for property located at 825 6th Avenue South, also known as Modera SoBro Phase 1, Revision 2 (MWS Project Nos. 22-WL-42 and 22-SL-100 and Proposal No. 2022M-188ES-003).

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2023-1700, approved March 10, 2023, and amended by Resolution No. RS2024-577, approved July 3, 2024, authorized the abandonment of approximately 617 linear feet of existing six-inch water main and approximately 410 linear feet of existing 12-inch sanitary sewer main, and the acceptance of approximately 20 linear feet of new six-inch water main (DIP), approximately 40 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), one fire hydrant assembly and one sanitary sewer manhole, for property located at 825 6th Avenue South, also known as Modera Sobro Phase 1, Revision 1; and,
WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately an additional 172 linear feet of existing 12-inch sanitary sewer main, one existing fire hydrant assembly, and three existing sanitary sewer manholes, and the acceptance of approximately 208 linear feet of new 12-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), one additional new fire hydrant assembly, and one additional new sanitary sewer manhole, are needed to construct Project Nos. 22-WL-42 and 22-SL-100; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2022M-188ES-003 on January 17, 2025, for revisions to the previous mandatory referrals; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2023-1700 provides that amendments to the legislation shall be approved by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
