An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public sanitary sewer main, public sanitary sewer manhole and easement, and to accept new public sanitary sewer manhole, for property located at 304 Oldham Street, also known as Oldham Self Storage (MWS Project No. 24-SL-11 and Proposal No. 2024M-064ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 55 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main, one existing sanitary sewer manhole and easement, and the acceptance of one new sanitary sewer manhole, for property located at 304 Oldham Street, also known as Oldham Self Storage, are needed to construct project number 24-SL-11; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2024M-064ES-001 on April 29, 2024, for the abandonment and acceptance of said sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 55 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main, one existing sanitary sewer manhole and easement, and to accept one new sanitary sewer manhole, for property located at 304 Oldham Street, also known as Oldham Self Storage, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment and acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
