WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2025-905, approved, July 16, 2025, authorized the acceptance of a new sanitary sewer pump station, approximately 405 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 3,629 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 2,152 linear feet of new six-inch sanitary sewer force main (DIP), 32 new sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located 7375 Nolensville Road in Wiliamson County also known as Nolensville Town Square - Phase 1; and,

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 300 fewer linear feet of new six-inch sanitary sewer force main (DIP) and easements, is now needed to construct Project No. 24-SL-83; and,

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2025M-066ES-002 on March 30, 2026, for revisions to the original mandatory referral; and,

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2025-905 provides that amendments to the legislation shall be approved by resolution.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1.                     That Ordinance No. BL2025-905 is hereby amended by deleting Section 1 in its entirety and replacing it with the following:

The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept a new sanitary sewer pump station, approximately 405 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 3,629 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 1,852 linear feet of new six-inch sanitary sewer force main (DIP), 32 new sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located at 7375 Nolensville Road in Williamson County, also known as Nolensville Town Square - Phase 1 Revision 1, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference:

Section 2.                     The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this resolution.

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect upon passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

This resolution amends Ordinance No. BL2025-904, which was approved by the Metropolitan Council on July 15, 2025. The ordinance authorized acceptance of a new sanitary sewer pump station, approximately 405 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 3,629 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 2,152 linear feet of new six-inch sanitary sewer force main (DIP), 32 new sanitary sewer  manholes and easements for property located at 7375 Nolensville Road in Williamson County, also known as Nolensville Town Square - Phase 1.

 

The proposed resolution authorizes the acceptance of 300 linear feet less of new six-inch sanitary sewer force main (DIP) and easements.

 

These changes have been approved by the Planning Commission.
