An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new public water, sanitary sewer and sanitary sewer force mains, sanitary sewer manhole, sanitary force main reducer and easements, for property located at 5001 Bell Road, also known as Sheerah Court (MWS Project Nos. 25-WL-62 and 25-SL-143 and Proposal No. 2026M-064ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 169 linear feet of new four-inch water main (DIP), approximately 35 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 70 linear feet of new two-inch sanitary sewer force main (SDR 21), approximately 108 linear feet of new one and one-half-inch sanitary sewer force main (SDR 21), one sanitary sewer manhole, one two-inch by one and one half inch sanitary sewer force main reducer and easements, for property located at 5001 Bell Road, also known as Sheerah Court, is needed to construct project numbers 25-WL-62 and 25-SL-143; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2026M-064ES-001 on July 24, 2026, for the acceptance of said water, sanitary sewer and sanitary sewer force mains, sanitary sewer manhole, sanitary sewer force main reducer and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 169 linear feet of new four-inch water main (DIP), approximately 35 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 70 linear feet of new two-inch sanitary sewer force main (SDR 21), approximately 108 linear feet of new one and one-half-inch sanitary sewer force main (SDR 21), one sanitary sewer manhole, one two-inch by one and one half inch sanitary sewer force main reducer and easements, for property located at 5001 Bell Road, also known as Sheerah Court, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
