An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new public water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located at 2215 Edge O Lake Drive, also known as Canyon Ridge Phases 4 and 6 (MWS Project Nos. 23-WL-02 and 23-SL-03 and Proposal No. 2024M-029ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 166 linear feet of new four-inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,351 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 695 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 1,107 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), three fire hydrant assemblies, 14 sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located at 2215 Edge O Lake Drive, also known as Canyon Ridge Phases 4 and 6, is needed to construct project numbers 23-WL-02 and 23-SL-03; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2024M-029ES-001 on February 20, 2024, for the acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 166 linear feet of new four-inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,351 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 695 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 1,107 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), three fire hydrant assemblies, 14 sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located at 2215 Edge O Lake Drive, also known as Canyon Ridge Phases 4 and 6, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
