A resolution authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new public water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies and sanitary sewer manholes, for property located at Rural Hill Road (unnumbered), also known as Bella Terra, (MWS Project Nos. 24-WL-70 and 24-SL-231 and Proposal No. 2025M-072ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 2,205 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,791 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), five fire hydrant assemblies and nine sanitary sewer manholes, for property located at Rural Hill Road (unnumbered), also known as Bella Terra, is needed to construct project numbers 24-WL-70 and 24-SL-231; and,
WHEREAS, BL2024-345 authorizes the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, improvement, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2025M-072ES-001 on June 2, 2025, for the acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies and sanitary sewer manholes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 2,205 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,791 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), five fire hydrant assemblies and nine sanitary sewer manholes, for property located at Rural Hill Road (unnumbered), also known as Bella Terra, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this resolution.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

Tennessee Code Annotated section 7-35-406(a)(2) and Ordinance No. BL2024-345 allow the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council.
