WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2026-1324, approved, April 24, 2026, authorized the acceptance of approximately 1,139 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,555 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 607 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), three fire hydrant assemblies, 19 sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located at Lucile Street (unnumbered), also known as City Vista II; and,

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 72 linear feet of new six-inch water main (DIP), approximately 10 fewer linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 25 fewer linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 5 fewer linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), and the horizontal adjustment of the water and sanitary sewer mains, is now needed to construct Project Nos. 25-WL-36 and 25-SL-86, for property now located at 1410 Dickerson Pike; and,

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2022M-186ES-002 on June 9, 2026, for revisions to the original mandatory referral; and,

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2026-1324 provides that amendments to the legislation shall be approved by resolution.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1.                     That Ordinance No. BL2026-1324 is hereby amended by deleting Section 1 in its entirety and replacing it with the following:

The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 72 linear feet of new six-inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,129 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,530 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 602 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), three fire hydrant assemblies, 19 sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located at 1410 Dickerson Pike, also known as City Vista II - Revision 1, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference:

Section 2.                     The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this resolution.

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect upon passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

This resolution amends Ordinance No. BL2026-1324, which was approved by the Metropolitan Council on April 24, 2026. The ordinance accepted approximately 1,139 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,555 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 607 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), three fire hydrant assemblies, 19 sanitary sewer manholes and easements for property located at Lucil Street (unnumbered), also known as City Vista II.

 

The proposed resolution would amend BL2026-1324 to accept approximately 72 linear feet of new six-inch water main (DIP), approximately 10 fewer linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 25 fewer linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary (PVC), approximately 5 fewer linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), and the horizontal adjustment of the water and sanitary sewer main for property now located 1410 Dickerson Pike.

 

This amendment has been approved by the Planning Commission.
