WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council desires to appropriate to certain accounts for the benefit of the Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure (NDOT) and the Midtown Business Improvement District (MBID) the amount of Five Million, Seven Hundred Twenty Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty-Nine Dollars ($5,720,989) from the increased revenue of the GSD General Fund and the revenue of the MBID.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That the following amounts from the revenue of the General Fund of the General Services District are hereby appropriated:

Section 5. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

Analysis
This resolution approves supplemental appropriations in the amount of $5,720,989 from revenues of various funds for the benefit of the Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure (“NDOT”) and the Midtown Central Business Improvement District.
A total of $4,189,900 would be appropriated from revenue of the GSD General Fund, particularly NDOT right-of-way permits for excavation and temporary street closures, for the following purpose:
• NDOT Roadway Programs - $4,189,900.
A total of $1,531,089 would be appropriated from the revenue of the Midtown Business Improvement District for the following purpose:
• Midtown Business Improvement District (MBID) Programs - $1,531,089.
