An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new public water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for two properties located at 5639 and 5645 Valley View Road, also known as Valley View Residential, (MWS Project Nos. 26-WL-23 and 26-SL-87 and Proposal No. 2026M-070ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 766 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 763 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), three fire hydrant assemblies, six sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for two properties located at 5639 and 5645 Valley View Road, also known as Valley View Residential, is needed to construct project numbers 26-WL-23 and 26-SL-87; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2026M-070ES-001 on August 17, 2026, for the acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 766 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 763 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), three fire hydrant assemblies, six sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for two properties located at 5639 and 5645 Valley View Road, also known as Valley View Residential, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
