WHEREAS, the Friends of Two Rivers Mansion have awarded an in-kind grant with an estimated value of $1,500.00 with no cash match required to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Parks and Recreation Department, to provide a Summit Commercial Ice Maker for Stone Hall at Two Rivers Mansion; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this grant be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1.                     That the in-kind grant by and between the Friends of Two Rivers Mansion, with an estimated value of $1,500.00, and the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Parks and Recreation Department, to provide a Summit Commercial Ice Maker for Stone Hall at Two Rivers Mansion, a copy of which in-kind grant is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2.                     That the in-kind grant be appropriated to the Parks and Recreation Department.

Section 3.                     That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

This resolution accepts an in-kind grant from the Friends of Two Rivers Mansion to the Metropolitan Board of Parks and Recreation for an ice machine at Stone Hall. This donation would improve facilities to accommodate future events.

 

The value of the in-kind grant is $1,500 with no required cash match. The Friends of Two Rivers Mansion will be responsible for installation and maintenance of the ice machine. No funds would be directed to Metro Parks.

 

The Metropolitan Board of Parks and Recreation accepted this grant at its January 6, 2026, meeting.
