WHEREAS, AmericaFWD has awarded an in-kind grant with an estimated value not to exceed $50,000.00 with no cash match required, to the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Mayor’s Office Choose How You Move program; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this grant be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That the in-kind grant by and between AmericaFWD, with an estimated value not to exceed $50,000.00, and the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Mayor’s Office Choose How You Move program, to receive technical assistance and specialized expertise to navigate the complexities of project delivery, to strengthen capacity, and to accelerate projects from planning to construction, a copy of which in-kind grant is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That the amount of this grant is to be appropriated to the Office of the Mayor, Choose How You Move program, based on revenues estimated to be received and any match to be applied.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

The grant would allow CHYM to receive technical assistance and specialized expertise to navigate the complexities of project delivery, strengthen capacity, and accelerate projects from planning to construction.
The estimated value of the in-kind grant is not to exceed $50,000. The grant term begins on April 7, 2026, and ends on April 7, 2027.
