An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, and to accept new public sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for two properties located at 507 East Trinity Lane and East Trinity Lane (unnumbered), also known as 509, 511, 513 East Trinity Development (MWS Project No. 23-SL-164 and Proposal No. 2026M-068ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 253 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main (VCP), three sanitary sewer manholes and easements, and the acceptance of approximately 207 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), four new sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for two properties located at 507 East Trinity Lane and East Trinity Lane (unnumbered), also known as 509, 511, 513 East Trinity Development, are needed to construct project number 23-SL-164; and,

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2026M-068ES-001 on August 5, 2026, for the abandonment and acceptance of said sanitary sewer mains, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1.                     The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 253 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main (VCP), three sanitary sewer manholes and easements, and to accept approximately 207 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), four new sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for two properties located at 507 East Trinity Lane and East Trinity Lane (unnumbered), also known as 509, 511, 513 East Trinity Development, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2.                     The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment and acceptance authorized by this ordinance.

Section 3.                     Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.

Section 4.                     This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
