A resolution to amend Resolution No. RS2025-1346 to authorize The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to modify the acceptance of sanitary sewer manholes, for property located at Rural Hill Road (unnumbered), also known as Bella Terra, (MWS Project Nos. 24-WL-70 and 24-SL-231 and Proposal No. 2025M-072ES-002).

WHEREAS, Resolution No. RS2025-1346, approved, July 2, 2025, authorized acceptance of approximately 2,205 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,791 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), five fire hydrant assemblies and nine sanitary sewer manholes, for property located at Rural Hill Road (unnumbered), also known as Bella Terra; and,
WHEREAS, the acceptance of one additional sanitary sewer manhole, is now needed to construct Project No. 24-SL-231; and,
WHEREAS, BL2024-345 authorizes the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, improvement, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2025M-072ES-002 on May 18, 2026, for revisions to the original mandatory referral.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Resolution No. RS2025-1346 is hereby amended by deleting Section 1 in its entirety and replacing it with the following:
The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 2,205 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,791 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), five fire hydrant assemblies and 10 sanitary sewer manholes, for property located at Rural Hill Road (unnumbered), also known as Bella Terra, Revision 1, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this resolution.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect upon passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

The resolution accepted 2,205 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,791 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), five fire hydrant assemblies and nine sanitary sewer manholes for property located at Rural Hill Road (unnumbered), also known as Bella Terra.
The proposed resolution would amend RS2025-1346 to accept one additional sanitary sewer manhole.
