An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public sanitary sewer main and sanitary sewer manhole, and to accept new public sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for the property located at 3207 West End Circle, also known as West End Circle Townhomes (MWS Project No. 25-SL-106 and Proposal No. 2025M-105ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 76 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main and one sanitary sewer manhole, and the acceptance of approximately 289 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), four new sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located at 3207 West End Circle, also known as West End Circle Townhomes, are needed to construct project number 25-SL-106; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2025M_105ES-001 on July 10, 2025, for the abandonment and acceptance of said sanitary sewer mains, sanitary sewer manholes, and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 76 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main and one sanitary sewer manhole, and to accept approximately 289 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), four new sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located at 3207 West End Circle, also known as West End Circle Townhomes, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment and acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

This ordinance has been approved by the Planning Commission. Future amendments to this ordinance shall be approved by resolution.
Fiscal Note: This ordinance has no cost to Metro. Abandoned and donated easements have no market value according to the Department of Water Services.
