An ordinance authorizing the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public water main, sanitary sewer manhole and easements, and to accept new public water main, fire hydrant assembly, sanitary sewer manhole and easements, for property located at 110 Tune Airport Drive, also known as Atlantic Aviation JWN Phase 1 (MWS Project Nos. 25-WL-84 and 25-SL-210 and Proposal No. 2026M-027ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 361 linear feet of existing six-inch water main (DIP), one sanitary sewer manhole and easements, and the acceptance of approximately 364 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), one fire hydrant assembly, one sanitary sewer manhole and easements, for property located at 110 Tune Airport Drive, also known as Atlantic Aviation JWN Phase 1, are needed to construct project numbers 25-WL-84 and 25-SL-210; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2026M-027ES-001 on March 30, 2026, for the abandonment and acceptance of said water mains, fire hydrant assembly, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 361 linear feet of existing six-inch water main (DIP), one sanitary sewer manhole and easements, and to accept approximately 364 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), one fire hydrant assembly, one sanitary sewer manhole and easements, for property located at 110 Tune Airport Drive, also known as Atlantic Aviation JWN Phase 1, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference:

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment and acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
