WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 365 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 260 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC) and three new sanitary sewer manholes, for property located at 84 Fairway Drive, also known as Batson Selma Avenue, is needed to construct project numbers 24-WL-12 and 24-SL-23; and,
WHEREAS, BL2024-345 authorizes the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, improvement, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2024M-091ES-001 on July 12, 2024, for the acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains and sanitary sewer manholes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 365 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 260 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC) and three new sanitary sewer manholes, for property located at 84 Fairway Drive, also known as Batson Selma Avenue, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this resolution.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

Tennessee Code Annotated § 7-35-406(a)(2) and Ordinance No. BL2024-345 allows the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council.
