An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new public water and sanitary sewer main, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located at 4021 Mills Road and at four properties offsite of the project location on Old Hickory Boulevard, Sells Drive and Central Pike, also known as Avid Hotel Revision 1, (MWS Project Nos. 21-WL-67 and 21-SL-147 and Proposal No. 2025M-063ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 390 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 240 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), one fire hydrant assembly, three sanitary sewer manholes and associated easements, for property located 4021 Mills Road, also known as Avid Hotel Revision 1, is needed to construct project numbers 21-WL-67 and 21-SL-147; and,

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 592 linear feet of new 12-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), at two properties located offsite of the project address at 5800 Old Hickory Boulevard and 4010 Sells Drive, and the acceptance of approximately 1,871 linear feet of new 15-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), at two properties located offsite of the project address at 4100 and 4156 Central Pike, also known as Avid Hotel Revision 1, is also needed to construct project numbers 21-WL-67 and 21-SL-147; and

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2025M-063ES-001 on May 9, 2025, for the acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assembly, sanitary sewer manholes and easement.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1.                     The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 390 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 240 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 592 linear feet of new 12-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 1,871 linear feet of new 15-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), one fire hydrant assembly, three sanitary sewer manholes and associated easements for property located 4021 Mills Road, and at four properties offsite of the project location on Old Hickory Boulevard, Sells Drive and Central Pike also known as Avid Hotel Revision 1, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2.    The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this ordinance.

Section 3.                     Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.

Section 4.                     This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
