A resolution to amend Ordinance No. BL2024-361 to authorize The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to amend the quantities of type of public sanitary sewer main, for two properties located at 7350 Nolensville Road and Rocky Fork Road (unnumbered) in Williamson County, also known as Village Green, Revision 1 (Nolensville) (MWS Project No. 23-SL-56 and Proposal No. 2024M-042ES-002).

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2024-361, approved June 7, 2024, authorized the acceptance of approximately 340 linear feet of new 10-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 799 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 398 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), seven new sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for two properties located at 7350 Nolensville Road and Rocky Fork Road (unnumbered) in Williamson County, also known as Village Green (Nolensville); and,
WHEREAS, the acceptance of an additional approximately 799 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer mains (PVC), for two properties located at 7350 Nolensville Road and Rocky Fork Road (unnumbered) in Williamson County, also known as Village Green, Revision 1 (Nolensville), is necessary to construct Project No. 23-SL-56; and,
WHEREAS, the previously approved acceptance of approximately 799 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), is no longer needed to construct Project No. 23-SL-56; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2024M-042ES-002 on August 27, 2024, for revisions to the original mandatory referral; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2024-361 provides that amendments to the legislation shall be approved by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. BL2024-361 is hereby amended by deleting section 1 in its entirety and replacing it with the following:
The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 340 linear feet of new 10-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 1,197 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), seven sanitary sewer manholes, and easements, for two properties located at 7350 Nolensville Road and Rocky Fork Road (unnumbered) in Williamson County, also known as Village Green, Revision 1 (Nolensville), as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this resolution.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

The ordinance authorized the acceptance of approximately 340 linear feet of new 10-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 799 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 398 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), seven new sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for two properties located at 7350 Nolensville Road and Rocky Fork Road (unnumbered) in Williamson County, also known as Village Green (Nolensville).
The Metropolitan Government has determined that an additional approximately 799 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer mains (PVC), for two properties located at 7350 Nolensville Road and Rocky Fork Road (unnumbered) in Williamson County, also known as Village Green, Revision 1 (Nolensville), is necessary to construct this project. BL2024-361 provided that amendments to the legislation may be approved by resolution. In addition, the previous approved acceptance of approximately 799 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), is no longer needed.
