A resolution to amend Ordinance No. BL2025-1013 to authorize The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to add the abandonment and acceptance of water and sanitary sewer main and easements, and to update Map and Parcel information, for now two properties located at 460 James Robertson Parkway and 300 Gay Street, (MWS Project Nos. 25-WL-39 and 24-SL-168 and Proposal No. 2025M-120ES-002).

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2025-1013, approved, October 10, 2025, authorized the abandonment of approximately 63 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main, two sanitary sewer manholes and easements, and the acceptance of one fire hydrant assembly and two sanitary sewer manholes, for three properties located at 450 and 460 James Robertson Parkway and 300 Gay Street; and,
WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 302 linear feet of existing 12-inch water main (CL), approximately 206 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main (VCP) and easements, and the acceptance of approximately 302 linear feet of new 12-inch water main (DIP), approximately 206 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC) and easements, are now needed to construct Project Nos. 25-WL-39 and 24-SL-168; and,
WHEREAS, the property located at 450 James Robertson Parkway, is now part of 460 James Robertson Parkway; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2025M-120ES-002 on November 4, 2025, for revisions to the original mandatory referral; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2025-1013 provides that amendments to the legislation shall be approved by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. BL2025-1013 is hereby amended by deleting Section 1 in its entirety and replacing it with the following:
The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 302 linear feet of existing 12-inch water main (CL), approximately 206 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main (VCP), approximately 63 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), two sanitary sewer manholes and easements, and to accept approximately 302 linear feet of new 12-inch water main (DIP), approximately 206 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), one fire hydrant assembly, two sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for two properties located at 460 James Robertson Parkway and 300 Gay Street, as shown below and on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference:

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment and acceptance authorized by this resolution.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect upon passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

The ordinance abandoned 63 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main, two sanitary sewer manholes and easements and accepted one fire hydrant assembly and two sanitary sewer manholes or three properties located at 450 and 460 James Robertson Parkway and 300 Gay Street.
The proposed resolution would amend BL2025-1013 to abandon 302 linear feet of existing 12-inch water main (CL), approximately 206 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main (VCP) and easements, and accept of approximately 302 linear feet of new 12-inch water main (DIP), approximately 206 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC) and easements for properties at 460 James Robertson Parkway and 300 Gay Street. The property at 450 James Robertson Parkway is now a part of 460 James Robertson Parkway.
This proposal has been approved by the Planning Commission.
