An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new public water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for five properties located on Central Pike, Kemp Drive and North New Hope Road, also known as Central Pike South (MWS Project Nos. 25-WL-69 and 25-SL-159 and Proposal No. 2026M-035ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 2,858 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 835 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 3,831 linear feet of eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), six fire hydrant assemblies, 31 sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for five properties located on Central Pike, Kemp Drive and North New Hope Road, also known as Central Pike South, is needed to construct project numbers 25-WL-69 and 25-SL-159; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2026M-035ES-001 on May 29, 2026, for the acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies, sanitary sewer manholes and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 2,858 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 835 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 3,831 linear feet of eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), six fire hydrant assemblies, 31 sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for five properties located on Central Pike, Kemp Drive and North New Hope Road, also known as Central Pike South, as shown on Exhibit 1 and 2, which are attached hereto and incorporated by reference:
Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
