WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 1,110 linear feet of new eight-inch water main, approximately 1,604 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer mains (PVC), approximately 427 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 1,741 linear feet of new two-inch sanitary sewer force main, two fire hydrant assemblies and eight sanitary sewer manholes, for property located at 790 Burnett Road, also known as ODFL North Nashville, is needed to construct project numbers 21-WL-43 and 24-SL-71; and,

WHEREAS, BL2024-345 authorizes the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, improvement, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council; and,

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2024M-137ES-001 on November 6, 2024 for the acceptance of said water, sanitary sewer and sanitary sewer force mains, fire hydrant assemblies and sanitary sewer manholes.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1.                     The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 1,110 linear feet of new eight-inch water main, approximately 1,604 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer mains (PVC), approximately 427 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 1,741 linear feet of new two-inch sanitary sewer force main, two fire hydrant assemblies and eight sanitary sewer manholes, for property located at 790 Burnett Road, also known as ODFL North Nashville, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2.                     The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this resolution.

Section 3.                     This resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

Tennessee Code Annotated § 7-35-406(a)(2) and Ordinance No. BL2024-345 allow the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council.

 

This proposal has been approved by the Planning Commission.
