An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing sanitary sewer manhole, and to accept new public sanitary sewer mains, sanitary sewer manholes, wetwell modifications and easements, for three properties located at 1686 Reynolds Road, Reynolds Road (unnumbered) and 600 Airpark Commerce Drive, also known as Reynolds Road Industrial Development (MWS Project No. 25-SL-173 and Proposal No. 2025M-177ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of one sanitary sewer manhole, and the acceptance of approximately 331 linear feet of new 12-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 1,497 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 718 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), 12 new sanitary sewer manholes, a wetwell modification and associated easements, for three properties located at 1686 Reynolds Road, Reynolds Road (unnumbered) and 600 Airpark Commerce Drive, also known as Reynolds Road Industrial Development, are needed to construct project number 25-SL-173; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2025M-177ES-001 on November 24, 2025, for the abandonment and acceptance of said sanitary sewer mains, sanitary sewer manholes, wetwell modification and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon one sanitary sewer manhole, and to accept approximately 331 linear feet of new 12-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 1,497 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 718 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), 12 new sanitary sewer manholes, a wetwell modification and associated easements, for three properties located at 1686 Reynolds Road, Reynolds Road (unnumbered) and 600 Airpark Commerce Drive, also known as Reynolds Road Industrial Development, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment and acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
