A resolution to amend Ordinance No. BL2025-1109 to authorize The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to modify the acceptance of sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located at 935 Barnes Road (MWS Project No. 25-SL-148 and Proposal No. 2025M-149ES-002).

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2025-1109, approved, November 24, 2025, authorized the acceptance of approximately 330 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), two sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located at 935 Barnes Road; and,
WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 38 fewer linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), one less sanitary sewer manhole and easements, are now needed to construct Project No. 25-SL-148; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2025M-149ES-002 on December 9, 2025, for revisions to the original mandatory referral; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2025-1109 provides that amendments to the legislation shall be approved by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. BL2025-1109 is hereby amended by deleting Section 1 in its entirety and replacing it with the following:
The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 292 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), one sanitary sewer manhole and easements, for property located at 935 Barnes Road, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference:

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this resolution.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect upon passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

The ordinance authorized the acceptance of approximately 330 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), two sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located at 935 Barnes Road. BL2025-1109 provides that amendments to the ordinance may be approved by resolution.
This proposed resolution would amend BL2025-1109 to accept approximately 38 fewer linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), one fewer sanitary sewer manhole and easements.
