A resolution authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new public water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies and sanitary sewer manholes, for three properties located at 3807 and 3817 Hamilton Church Road and Hamilton Church Road (unnumbered), also known as 3807-3817 Hamilton Church Road Phase 2 (MWS Project Nos. 26-WL-35 and 26-SL-109 and Proposal No. 2026M-049ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 1,962 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,655 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), four new fire hydrant assemblies and eight new sanitary sewer manholes, for three properties located at 3807 and 3817 Hamilton Church Road and Hamilton Church Road (unnumbered), also known as 3807-3817 Hamilton Church Road Phase 2, is needed to construct project numbers 26-WL-35 and 26-SL-109; and,
WHEREAS, BL2024-345 authorizes the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services to approve extensions, additions, improvement, or works by resolution of the Metropolitan Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2026M-049ES-001 on June 23, 2026, for the acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrant assemblies and sanitary sewer manholes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 1,962 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 1,655 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), four new fire hydrant assemblies and eight new sanitary sewer manholes, for three properties located at 3807 and 3817 Hamilton Church Road and Hamilton Church Road (unnumbered), also known as 3807-3817 Hamilton Church Road Phase 2, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this resolution.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
