An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public water main, and to accept new public water main and one sanitary sewer manhole, for three properties located 542, 546, and 548 Rosedale Avenue, also known as The View at Rosedale (MWS Project Nos. 22-WL-89 and 22-SL-180 and Proposal No. 2022M-151ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately six linear feet of existing six inch water main (CIP), and the acceptance of approximately six linear feet of new six inch water main (DIP) and one sanitary sewer manhole, for three properties located 542, 546, and 548 Rosedale Avenue, also known as The View at Rosedale, are needed to construct project numbers 22-WL-89 and 22-SL-180; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2022M-151ES-001 on October 28, 2022, for the abandonment and acceptance of said water mains and sanitary sewer manhole.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately six linear feet of existing six inch water main (CIP), and to accept approximately six linear feet of new six inch water main (DIP) and one sanitary sewer manhole, for three properties located 542, 546, and 548 Rosedale Avenue, also known as The View at Rosedale, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment and acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
