An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new public sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for two properties located at West Division Street (unnumbered) and Lawler Lane (unnumbered) in Mt. Juliet, Wilson County, also known as Canebrake Phase 3A Revision 01 (MWS Project No. 24-SL-253 and Proposal No. 2025M-196ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 1,607 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), 10 new sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for two properties located at West Division Street (unnumbered) and Lawler Lane (unnumbered) in Mt. Juliet, Wilson County, also known as Canebrake Phase 3A Revision 01, is needed to construct project number 24-SL-253; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved with conditions mandatory referral No. 2025M-196ES-001 on January 28, 2026, for the acceptance of said sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manholes and easements; and
WHEREAS, NES’s condition that all work must maintain clearances with any utility poles to prevent undermining the integrity of the base of the poles, will be met as utilities at this location are underground.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 1,607 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), 10 new sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for two properties located at West Division Street (unnumbered) and Lawler Lane (unnumbered) in Mt. Juliet, Wilson County, also known as Canebrake Phase 3A Revision 01, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
