An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new public water and sanitary sewer mains, sanitary sewer manholes and relocation of existing fire hydrant assemblies, for property located at 260 Paragon Mills Road, also known as Paragon Mills Elementary School, (MWS Project Nos. 23-WL-70 and 23-SL-161 and Proposal No. 2023M-191ES-001).

WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 13 linear feet of new six-inch water main (DIP), approximately 79 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), one sanitary sewer manhole, and the relocation of two existing fire hydrant assemblies, for property located at 260 Paragon Mills Road, also known as Paragon Mills Elementary School, is needed to construct project numbers 23-WL-70 and 23-SL-161; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2023M-191ES-001 on December 12, 2023, for the acceptance of said water and sanitary sewer mains, sanitary sewer manholes and relocation of fire hydrant assemblies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 13 linear feet of new six-inch water main (DIP), approximately 79 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), one sanitary sewer manhole, and the relocation of two existing fire hydrant assemblies, for property located at 260 Paragon Mills Road, also known as Paragon Mills Elementary School, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
