An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manhole and associated easements, and to accept new sanitary sewer manhole, for property located at 1516 4th Avenue South, also known as 1514 4th Ave S Hotel (MWS Project No. 25-SL-181 and Proposal No. 2026M-082ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 158 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main, one sanitary sewer manhole and associated easements, and the acceptance of one new sanitary sewer manhole, for property located at 1516 4th Avenue South, also known as 1514 4th Ave S Hotel, are needed to construct project number 25-SL-181; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2026M082ES-001 on September 8, 2026, for the abandonment and acceptance of said sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manholes, and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 158 linear feet of existing eight-inch sanitary sewer main, one sanitary sewer manhole and associated easements, and to accept one new sanitary sewer manhole, for property located at 1516 4th Avenue South, also known as 1514 4th Ave S Hotel, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment and acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
