An ordinance to amend Resolution RS2025-1412 to authorize The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept new public sanitary sewer main, additional sanitary sewer manholes and include easements, for property located at 1017 Pierce Road (MWS Project No. 24-SL-134 and Proposal No. 2025M-100ES-002).

WHEREAS, Resolution No RS2025-1412, approved on August 7, 2025, authorized the acceptance of one new sanitary sewer manhole, for property located at 1017 Pierce Road; and,
WHEREAS, the acceptance of approximately 681 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), six additional sanitary sewer manholes and easements, is now needed to construct Project No. 24-SL-134; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2025M100ES-002 on September 14, 2026, for revisions to the original mandatory referral; and,
WHEREAS, Resolution No RS2025-1412 did not provide for easements to be accepted, the amendment to the legislation shall be approved by ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to accept approximately 681 linear feet of new eight-inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), seven sanitary sewer manholes and easements, for property located at 1017 Pierce Road, as shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference.

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acceptance authorized by this ordinance.
Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.
