An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon public water mains, fire hydrant assembly and easements, and to accept new public water mains, fire hydrant assemblies and easements, for property located 1 Terminal Drive, also known as BNA CONRAC Phase 1 (MWS Project No. 26-WL-103 and Proposal No. 2026M-093ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 365 linear feet of existing eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 132 linear feet of existing 16-inch water main (DIP), one fire hydrant assembly and easements, and the acceptance of approximately 135 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 553 linear feet of new 10-inch water main (DIP), two fire hydrant assemblies and easements, for property located 1 Terminal Drive, also known as BNA CONRAC Phase 1, are needed to construct Project No. 26-WL-103; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2026M093ES-001 on September 17, 2026, for the abandonment and acceptance of said water mains, fire hydrant assemblies and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 365 linear feet of existing eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 132 linear feet of existing 16-inch water main (DIP), one fire hydrant assembly and easements, and to accept approximately 135 linear feet of new eight-inch water main (DIP), approximately 553 linear feet of new 10-inch water main (DIP), two fire hydrant assemblies and easements, for property located 1 Terminal Drive, also known as BNA CONRAC Phase 1, as shown on Exhibit 1, which are attached hereto and incorporated by reference:
