WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 8,300 linear feet of existing six inch sanitary sewer force main (DIP), and the construction of approximately 7,500 linear feet of new 10 inch sanitary sewer force main (DIP), for 13 properties located near Whites Creek Pike at Interstate 24, are needed to construct Project No. 21-SG-141; and,
WHEREAS, the negotiation, condemnation and acceptance of permanent and temporary easements, for 13 properties located near Whites Creek Pike at Interstate 24, are also needed to construct Project No. 21-SG-141; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2022M-156ES-001 on October 28, 2022, for the abandonment and construction of said sanitary sewer force mains and for the negotiation, condemnation and acceptance of temporary and permanent easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 8,300 linear feet of existing six inch sanitary sewer force main (DIP), to construct approximately 7,500 linear feet of new 10 inch sanitary sewer force main (DIP), and to negotiate, condemn and accept temporary and permanent easements, for 13 properties located near Whites Creek Pike at Interstate 24, as shown on Exhibits 1 and 2, which are attached hereto and incorporated by reference.
