An ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to abandon existing public sanitary sewer main and easements, and to accept new sanitary sewer and water main, sanitary sewer manholes, fire hydrant assemblies and easements, for property located at 218 Maplewood Trace (MWS Project Nos. 21-SL-07 and 20-WL-03 and Proposal No. 2021M-055ES-001).

WHEREAS, the abandonment of approximately 296 linear feet of existing eight inch sanitary sewer main and easements, and the acceptance of approximately 57 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 660 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 287 linear feet of new 10 inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 802 linear feet of new eight inch water main (DIP), eight sanitary sewer manholes, two fire hydrant assemblies and easements, for property located at 218 Maplewood Trace, are needed to construct project numbers 21-SL-07 and 21-WL-03; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved mandatory referral No. 2021M-055ES-001 on June 28, 2021, for the abandonment and acceptance of said sanitary sewer and water main, sanitary sewer manholes, fire hydrant assemblies, and easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is authorized to abandon approximately 296 linear feet of existing eight inch sanitary sewer main and easements, and to accept approximately 57 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (DIP), approximately 660 linear feet of new eight inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 287 linear feet of new 10 inch sanitary sewer main (PVC), approximately 802 linear feet of new eight inch water main (DIP), eight sanitary sewer manholes, two fire hydrant assemblies and easements, for property located at 218 Maplewood Trace, as shown on Exhibit 1, whic...
